DESCRIPTION: Peace Valley Park is about 1500 acres including the 365-acre lake. Currently, almost half is maintained as a nature area. There are 14 miles of nature trails plus the 6+ mile paved Bike & Hike Trail. The Birds of Peace Valley Park is available in the Peace Valley Nature Center and lists all the species reported from the park. Both trail and full park maps are also available at the Visitor Center. There also are a bird-sighting log that may have some recent reports and on the wall above the log is a spreadsheet showing what species have been reported each week during the current calendar year up to the previous week.
