Description:  One can park here and walk this area. The only trail is the Bike & Hike Trail but the parking lot and grass along the road provide good observation areas. The woodland areas can be very good for spring migrants as there are a number of oak trees here. Woodland breeding birds similar to those mentioned for the nature trails can be heard or seen here as well. The habitat changes to red cedar as you head toward Callowhill Road. A few Prairie Warbler breed here and Blue-winged Warbler, Yellow Warbler, Eastern Towhee, and Common Flicker are usually present. Winter can bring large flocks of berry eaters if the food supply is good.
