Description:  Located next to the Solar Building at the Nature Center, the blind is particularly good for wintering sparrows, and in some winters a good spot to compare Black-capped and Carolina chickadees. This is also the best place to spot Purple Finch, Pine Siskin, and Common Redpoll in invasion years. Some breeders that can be seen here up close are Ruby-throated Hummingbird, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Red-bellied Woodpecker, and American Goldfinch. Eastern Screech Owl can often be seen looking out of one of the boxes visible from the blind
