Description:  Due to its more remote location, birders underutilize this area bounded by South Woods Trail, Limekiln Road, the Bike & Hike Trail, and Chapman Road. It supports most of the same species already mentioned, but the Wetlands Loop and abandoned farm fields offer possible surprises. A good variety of migrant warblers have been reported from here in May. Breeding Ovenbird was one of the attractions on the South Woods Trail and may still be in the area close to Limekiln Road. Deer have damaged their habitat. As with this area, the adjacent area between Limekiln Road and Old Limekiln Road has trails, but birders generally observe this area only from the Bike & Hike Trail. This area also should be explored more.
