Peace Valley Park
Scout Trail/Hawk Walk/Far Out Loop

Directions:  See Peace Valley Map or Google Map

Description:  If you have time, these trails can be productive. Some breeders noted here are Eastern Bluebird, Indigo Bunting, Field Sparrow, Eastern Towhee, Blue-winged Warbler, and Scarlet Tanager. The Scout Trail was and may still be a good spot to see Connecticut Warbler in the fall. Migrant thrushes often can be seen on the ground between the trail and the Neshaminy Creek. The portions of these trails near the creek are sometimes hot spots for spring migrants. Migrating Mourning Warbler has been found in thickets along these trails on occasion.
