Snowy Owl — Brodheadsville, Monroe County; January 14, 2003. Photos by Dave DeReamus. This bird was in a field bordered by Weir Lake Road and Altemose Drive, west of the Route 209/115 split. It was present from January 11th until March 22nd. Note the white face and overall dark flecking. 
This photo show the south end of the bird flying north. Note the dark flecking on the wings and tail.
