Seasonal Occurrence Tables
Previously published inย Pennsylvania Birds, the Seasonal Occurrence Tables listed the dates of occurrence of most species on a county-by-county basis. The data are not meant to represent a definitive picture of a species’ abundance and occurrence, but a snapshot. However, when viewed over many years, the cumulative weight of the data should reveal broad trends.
They were discontinued in 2013.
The Spring and Fall tables list the first and last dates that species were recorded.
The Breeding Season table records the breeding status of each species in a county.
The codes used are the same as those used in the Breeding Bird Atlas: PO = Possible, PR = Probable, CO = Confirmed.
Note: If a species is not reported, that does not mean it wasn’t there.
These tables are in Adobe Acrobat format and can be printed or downloaded to your computer or viewed on-screen.
