Review List

Revised November 2024

The following Review List contains species that are considered rare or accidental in Pennsylvania. The Records Committee requests details including full descriptions, photographs, video, or sound recordings for review and possible inclusion on the state’s Official List.

The Pennsylvania Ornithological Records Committee will review reports of:

  1. Species not included in the current checklist
  2. Species listed below
  3. Rarely-documented subspecies
    • Ex. Audubon’s Warbler (Dendroica coronata auduboni) or Oregon Dark-eyed Junco (Junco hyemalis [oreganus Group])
