Raystown Lake
Huntingdon
DESCRIPTION: Lake Raystown is a big time recreational place - lots of fishing, lots of boats including high speed things, and some waterfowl hunters. There is nevertheless lots of bird potential with the hundreds of miles of convoluted shoreline and islands. Being so large, the "good" spots are widely separated. A tour of the best spots will involve much driving. A complete loop of the lake will probably be over 100 miles, the vast majority of which are not within view of the lake.
