Description: There is some shallow water here, but on weekends it is a boating madhouse. Good for migrating ducks, loafing gulls, and sometimes terns. Also a good spot for Osprey and Bald Eagle. Best time is spring migration. Best to visit early in morning before boaters arrive. Also present are thickets and trees with Willow Flycatcher, Yellow-breasted Chat, Orchard Oriole, Eastern Kingbird, to name a few. |
