DESCRIPTION: This area has several agricultural fields with depressions that frequently flood during heavy rains in spring and fall and attract migrant shorebirds. They are also good in winter for Horned Lark and Snow Bunting.

DIRECTIONS: From Jersey Shore, take US 220 south to the PA 44 North exit. At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn south on Tiadaghton Road. Go 1.4 miles and turn right (west) on River Road. About 0.25 mile on the right is a pond to check. The amount of water depends on the rainfall. Heavy rains produce shallow ponds on both sides of this road for the next 0.5 mile to the sharp right turn.
