Westtown Lake
DESCRIPTION: Westtown Lake is located on the campus of Westtown School in southern Chester County. Open to the public, the lake is surrounded by a narrow area of mature coniferous and deciduous woods. There is an unpaved walking path around the entire lake. Great location for a variety of waterfowl and migrant passerines. Recent sightings include Bald Eagle, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, and Hooded Merganser.
DIRECTIONS: From US 202 South take the Westtown Road Exit (near West Chester, Pa). At the bottom of the ramp/traffic light, make a left and head east on Westtown Road for approximately 2.5 miles. There is a small dirt parking area on the left

Right next to this area is a small wooden bridge that leads to the lake and there is a welcome sign with a brief list
of rules.
