Off of the paved walkway is a path that traverses through the woods where Eastern Towhees, Yellow warblers, etc. have been seen. Eastern Kingbirds, Eastern Bluebirds, and several other small species have been sighted along the lake. Osprey, several hawk species, and other smaller birds can be seen among other paths or trails in other parts of the park away from the lake, as there are approximately 11 pavilions with different habitat for wildlife, an Activities Center, Sports Fields, restrooms, etc.
