Beech Creek Road

Return to PSO Home Page

DESCRIPTION: This dirt forest road is an easily accessible location to get Cerulean and Worm-eating warblers, among others, which when combined with a trip to nearby Bald Eagle SP (Centre County), makes a nice combination for a variety of habitats and birds.

DIRECTIONS: From PA 150 in Beech Creek, northeast of Bald Eagle SP, go north on Beech Creek Road (if you are coming from the west, it's the first left immediately after crossing the bridge over Beech Creek) for 2.4 miles and turn right on Falls Road, then make an immediate left onto Beech Creek Road. Go 1.2 miles to Packer Lane on the left and bird along Beech Creek Road for the next mile or so.
