Return to PSO Home Page

DESCRIPTION: This almost 4,000-acre park offers a variety of habitats and a variety of birds. The 450-acre lake attracts migrating waterfowl, but not in great numbers due to boaters and fishermen. It is best checked during inclement weather. There are multiple parking areas from which to scan the lake. Obtain a park map at the park office to find your way around the park. There are fifteen miles of hiking trails which explore the mostly forested areas.

DIRECTIONS: From US 30 and PA 96 in Schellsburg, go south on PA 96 for 1.75 miles to the park entrance on the left. The Park Office is shortly on the right.
