Description:  Although in New Jersey, this is a good spot for viewing gulls lounging on the river, and, since the state boundary line runs roughly down the center of the river along this stretch, any gulls on the west side of the river are in Pennsylvania. Cross the river on the PA Turnpike onto the New Jersey Turnpike and take the first exit (Florence, about 2.5 miles after crossing the river) in New Jersey. Follow the signs for US 130 North (Burlington-Bordentown Road). When you get to the intersection, turn right (northeast) on US 130. Go 0.3 mile, cross NJ 656, and turn right on the jughandle in order to go left (Northwest) on NJ 656 (Delaware Avenue). Go 1.6 miles to a boat launching area on the right. Park here and scan the river. Another location is another 0.4 mile down Delaware Avenue at Rivers Edge Park. Park in the parking lot and walk out to the paved walkway next to the river.
