Chapman State Park

Return to PSO Home Page

DESCRIPTION: When the lake is not overused for fishing, this is a good place to see Osprey, loons, Tundra Swan, Canada Goose and other species of waterfowl during migration. There are several SGL and USFS roads leading from the park area that are worth exploring. Red-shouldered and Broad-winged hawks nest in the area.

DIRECTIONS: From US 6 in Clarendon, go west on Chapman Dam Road for 5 miles to the park.
