Directions:  This is a very good area to park and use a scope to pick up large rafts of ducks, gulls, and loons. Parking is allowed along the south side of the causeway only on the Pennsylvania section. On the Ohio side, the only parking is in parking lots at the end of the causeway (a boat launching area on the north side and a beach area on the south side). In winter this is the area most likely to produce Snow Bunting and Snowy Owl.
