Directions:  From the traffic light in Linesville, go south on South Mercer Street (which becomes Hartstown Road) for 0.7 mile and turn left (east) into the Linesville Fish Hatchery. There are many ponds in this area and the start of the Pymatuning Wildlife Refuge. Enjoy the hatchery and its displays. This area usually has the last area of water to freeze in the winter, bringing a good number of ducks and geese close to the parking lot. Gulls, ducks, and geese are best seen here in the spring, and in the fall large groups of shorebirds may be found on the fish hatchery ponds.
