Oil Creek State Park |
||
Directions: Just south of the park, paralleling PA 8 on the west, is Waitz Road. It features riparian habitat and is a good migrant area. Birds such as Wilson's Warbler, Philadelphia Vireo, Yellow-bellied Flycatcher, and Mourning Warbler are often found here in fall migration. The northern entrance to Waitz Road is on PA 8 less than one hundred yards south of the main park entrance (SR 1007) on the west side of the road. It follows the west side of Oil Creek for about 1.5 miles. |
