Wingfield Pines (Wingfield Pines Golf Course)
Allegheny
DESCRIPTION: Wingfield Pines hosts a great diversity of birds, especially during spring, summer, and fall. It is one of the best places in the county to find Yellow-throated Warbler. Marsh Wren has been recorded here, as have most sparrows found in the region. Both species of orioles can be found throughout the summer. Northern Harriers hunt the fields across the street from the parking lot. Walk down the concrete path into the area. A loop can easily be made either by continuing straight until the boardwalk and then going left to the creek. Traveling left along the creek will take you back to the main area. Yellow-throated Warblers can be found in the sycamores along the creek.

DIRECTIONS: From I-79, take exit 54 and merge onto PA-50 heading east. Continue 0.5 mile and turn right onto Washington Pike at the T. Follow Washington Pike 2.1 miles to Boyce Rd and make a left.
