DESCRIPTION: This area has young and older forest, including many hemlocks, an open cut area from old logging, and two small reservoirs. Typical woodland and edge birds including Hooded Warbler, Indgo Bunting, Scarlet Tanager, etc. You will do most of your birding off the dirt road. The dirt road has power line poles that go on for approximately 4 miles. The first reservoir is on your left on an older dirt road about 1.5 miles in. The second reservoir is on your left on a less used dirt road approximately 4 miles in.

DIRECTIONS: From I-81, get off at the Ravine exit and follow the signs to PA 125 North. Take PA 125 North for 0.83 mile and turn right at the sign for Echo Valley Campground on Camp Road. Go 0.15 miles to a pulloff on the right where a dirt road goes off. Park here and walk down the dirt road.
