Mount Pisgah State Park

DESCRIPTION: Mt. Pisgah State Park is located along Mill Creek and sits at the base of 2,260-foot Mt. Pisgah. It features the 75-acre Stephen Foster Lake, approximately 10 miles of trails, a nature center, and habitat garden. Look for waterfowl at the upper end of the lake during migration. Breeding birds include American Black Duck, Eastern Bluebird, Tree Swallow, Wild Turkey, Brown Thrasher, Belted Kingfisher, and a variety of owl species.

DIRECTIONS: From US 6 near West Burlington travel north for two miles on SR 3019 (Wallace Road) to State Park Road (SR 4015). Go east on State Park Road to the park entrance.
