| DESCRIPTION: This is a hospital in Ephrata. There is a row of evergreen trees in the back of the hospital. This is where the Black-crowned Night-herons nest. |
DIRECTIONS: The hospital is located at PA 272 and Martin Avenue. From US 322/PA 272 go north on PA 272. Just past Martin Avenue, turn right into the hospital parking lot, turn immediately left. Follow the road around the hospital, when you get in the area of the entrance, look for a row of evergreen trees. Park near them. This is a Black-crowned Night-heron Rookery. |
