| DESCRIPTION: Outside zoo. Two man-made lakes. Grassy hills surrounded by coniferous but mostly deciduous trees. Small entrance fee. The zoo is supplied with exotic birds, although the birdkeeper has confirmed some rarities that are not of their own, such as Red-headed Woodpecker, Sandhill Crane and Common Moorhen. |
DIRECTIONS: From Harrisburg, go north on US 322 West to Dauphin. Take PA 225 North through Halifax to Fisherville. Turn at Lake Tobias Wildlife Park sign. |
