| DESCRIPTION: Flights here are like hawk watching throughout much of the low-altitude locations in southeastern Pennsylvania. To see hawks well, watch for them early in the morning as they slowly build altitude, and in the late afternoon when they come down from their soaring. |
DIRECTIONS: Militia Hill is located within Fort Washington State Park, which is located on PA 73 about 1.4 miles north of PA 309. The closest entrance to the site is on Militia Hill Road, which branches off PA. 73 just 550' south of the turnpike. It is handicapped accessible |
