Photo by Chad Kauffman. Even though this is a distant photo, you can still make out the light underparts on the Tricolored and compare its size to that of the much larger Great Blue Heron on the right.

Lazuli Bunting — near Oakland Mills, Juniata County on April 27, 2004. Photo by Deuane Hoffman. Note the light wingbars, buffy breast, and turquoise blue head, wings, and tail. This bird represents the 1st record for Juniata County and only the 2nd record for Pennsylvania!
