266-01-2007 American Oystercatcher

This bird was found by Rob Fergus after a strong “nor’easter”. Note the distinctive red-orange bill, the black head, the white underside, and the brown wings and back. This bird represents the 2nd record for Bucks County and only the 5th record for Pennsylvania.
