Description:
A single adult in breeding plumage.

Behavior:
Was associating with a flock of Horned Grebes and other mixed waterfowl.

Separation from similar species:
Full black neck and chest with black head and back. With rusty red sides. Spikey yellow "ears" coming from eyes going back and down.

How positive are you about the identification:
Yes 100% Have decent photos, and grebe is definitely different from the similar species, Horned Grebe.
