Some have suggested that it could possibly be one of three look-alike hummingbirds species, mostly from the Southwest, that accidently ventured into our area. The other consideration is that it could have been a Ruby-throated Hummingbird that found a good source of food supply, such as running sap or someone else's feeder, before it found Bill Hare's feeder on the edge of Red Lion 11/16.
