Tufted Duck — Upper Uwchlan Township, Chester County; March 18, 2010. Photos by Drew Weber. This bird was found by Holly Merker. This female represents the 1st Chester County record and only the 4th record for Pennsylvania.

Tufted Duck — Tinicum Township, Bucks County from March 22-28, 2004. Photo by Thomas Ford-Hutchinson. This bird was found by August Mirabella. This photo shows a hint of the tuft on the back of the head. Also note the lack of an eye ring on the very dark, rounded head, and the dark back. This female represents the 1st Bucks County record and only the 3rd record for Pennsylvania.
