Ruff — near Fogelsville, Lehigh County; May 20, 2011. Photos by Dustin Welch. This female, known as a Reeve, was found by Billy Weber. Unfortunately, it left by late morning. This bird represents the 2nd record for Lehigh County.
This photo shows the distinctive ‘U’-shaped patch of white on the rump.
