Black-throated Gray Warbler — Near Newville, Cumberland County; October 21, 2009. Photo by Andrew Markel. This bird was originally found by Vern Gauthier along Big Spring Creek on October 20th. Note the black and white facial pattern, black throat, black streaking on the flanks, grayish upperparts, and the white wingbars. The yellow lore spot is also visible here. If accepted, this bird will represent the 9th record for Pennsylvania!
